A new event is coming the the International Peace Garden today. Today, people of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in a mural painting event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“The theme will be 'sharing a story of peace,'” said Garry Enns, CEO of the International Peace Garden.

Zot Artz makes art accessible for everyone with adaptive art tools for people with disabilities.

“This is a project that invites anyone, regardless of your abilities, whether you consider yourself an artist, or whether you have mobility issues, whether there might be other issues that you're dealing with, you are welcome to come and help create part of the mural,” said Enns.

Enns adds it will be a way to tell your stories through art.

“It'll be a large mural that we'll be able to hang on one of our tall walls in our Interpretive Centre,” he said.

The program is presented by the Anne Carlsen Centre, a non-profit organization that has been providing supports and services to individuals for over 75 years.

The art event is free of charge.
