Feeling a nudge in a different direction, the mission pastor at Pathway Community Church in Winkler will be taking on the role of ministry director at The Bunker Youth Ministry in Winkler.

Harold Espinosa will take over the role at the Bunker May 1st. He will take over as ministry director from Elden Shore.

Espinosa has served at the Bunker as a volunteer for 6 1/2 years, so he will be a familiar face to many. Espinosa says to have the opportunity to serve at the Bunker is like "a glove in a hand." "For many years I felt the Lord calling, but I was too afraid to come to the Bunker because this is a big challenge, it's not easy and you have to take it seriously," said Espinosa. "When I was ready, and I felt the Lord pushing hard...I said I will serve wherever you call me."

Espinosa says the Bunker is an amazing tool in the way of making a huge impact in the lives of people. He said he's had the privilege to hear stories of how the Bunker has helped change lives.

Espinosa says he will continue to serve as a lay pastor at Pathway when his official title of mission pastor ends.
