The historical Memorial Hall in Carman is boasting a new showpiece at the front exterior. The giant 10'x12' window that has served as a centrepiece to the building has been replaced.

The new window features a stained-glass poppy at the centre, a nod to the building's First World War memorial status.

When all is said and done, the replacement is expected to cost about $22,000.

Meantime, visitors to the Hall can once again access the front entrance which was cut off during the window replacement.
