The theft of a PlayStation 4 from Shoppers Drug Mart in Morden ended up being only a portion of items taken by the suspects in the case.
    
The PlayStation theft was previously reported by Morden Police last week. It has since been discovered the suspects also took approximately $900 worth of fragrances from the store.
    
The thefts occurred between 9:00 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. on July 8th.
    
One of the suspects, who was caught on surveillance, is described as a white female with blonde hair.  She was wearing a black top, flowered shorts, and was carrying a dark coloured handbag.
    
The second female suspect was described as white, between 20-30 years-old, and was wearing a white sweater with long sleeves and a darker skirt.
    
Since last reported, police have released enhanced surveillance photos in hopes of identifying the two suspects.

Morden Police are also investigating the fraudulent use of a credit card at two businesses in Morden.  
    
On June 12th, two suspects, one female, and one male purchased over $400 worth of electronic items including an iPod and others goods from Pembina Valley Computers.
A pre-paid credit card was used by the male, a PIN was entered, and the transaction was accepted.  

Two days later the business owner was advised by the credit card company that the transaction was unauthorized.  

Again on June 12th, a male and female purchased over $800 worth of items from Velocity Motorsports in Morden, including a watch, shoes, and clothing, also using a pre-paid credit card.  A PIN was used and the transaction was accepted.  

The next day, the business owner was informed by the credit card company that the transaction was unauthorized.  

Similar unauthorized transactions have taken place in Winkler around this same time and suspects have been identified by police.  

The investigations are continuing with charges pending.


Also during the past week, Morden police received a report of a hit and run to a vehicle in the parking lot of the Dairy Queen in Morden.  Police say the driver parked his 2004 grey Buick Regal in the parking lot and returned around 10:00 P.M. to find damage to the rear passenger's side of his vehicle.  No information was left on the vehicle or with the registered owner.
