The excitement is building for Morris grads as they prepare to accept their diplomas and start the next chapter of their lives. Approximately twenty-eight students will graduate this year from Morris School Friday, with Jessica Edel and Josh Nickel filling the role of co-valedictorian.

Edel said it's her dream to become a physiotherapist after high school.

"This will allow me to continue to encourage people to maintain active living and healthy lifestyles, so I am going to Canadian Mennonite University, playing volleyball and also taking an arts and science degree that will take me to the University of Manitoba where I can major in physiotherapy."

Edel added this year's graduating class is much smaller than previous years, noting it's been an advantage, and has made them a tight knit group.

Meanwhile, Nickel expressed his surprise over graduating explaining he never thought he would make it this far.

"It feels really great, and I definitely have a lot to thank God for over the years, so it's quite a relief at this point. When I was sixteen I wanted to go to the University of Manitoba for music, but I became a Christian at sixteen and those sort of things really stop mattering to me. I decided that if it wasn't for God I didn't want to do it, so that's why I decided on Steinbach Bible College after graduation.

Nickel went on to say that Steinbach Bible College will allow him to learn more about God, and study under some amazing professors, noting hopefully his education will allow him to get out into the mission field or become a pastor.
