Construction work is well underway on PR 201 west of Altona to PTH 32. Pilot vehicles continue to lead traffic through the construction zone.

Kelvin Shuvera, Director of Regional Operations with Manitoba Highways, said construction crews are micro-surfacing the roadway. Work on the westbound lane is almost complete, and work on the eastbound lane will begin shortly, with a completion date of October 13.

Another project is taking place on PTH 14, said Shuvera.

"On PTH 14 Plum Coulee and to the east that we've been working on this summer, there's about three days of paving remaining and then we'll have some shoulder work a few more days after that," he said.

Shuvera predicted work on that highway will be complete next week, depending on the weather.
