Local artisans and crafters are flocking to Tiny Haven in the City of Winkler.

The boutique store opened earlier this month at 262 Main Street.

Owner Julia Blais explains the dream has been long in the making.

"I had to just wait for the right moment and the right location. And I feel I've found that, I really wanted to bring something new to Main Street."

The store supports local artisans and creatives, providing retail space for crafters.

"I was so shocked. When I was first opening I searching for local artisans, over the weeks I have an inbox full of requests... it's just amazing to see how many professional, local businesses there are."

She notes the store fills a need for many who rely on craft shows that take place only a few times a year.

"This is somewhere people can come every day," Blais says, noting they have another place to showcase their work.

"I really wanted the perfect location: a Main Street window, daylight, and a side walk. And I feel like I got that," Tiny Haven Julia Blais says
