A new road scheduled to be constructed in 2017 as part of the Rosemore Rosenort Industrial Park has been long awaited.

The new road will help sub-divide the remaining property to be sold to future businesses and allows road access on the southern edge of the industrial park.

"There has been absolutely no objection to the new road, actually lots of positive feedback about the project has been received by businesses located in the park," said Reeve for the R.M. of Morris Ralph Groening.

Groening mentioned due to the time of year construction will not take place until spring of 2017. At which time the hope is to obtain the funds for the new road through a building Canada Grant the Municipality has applied for and is awaiting confirmation. The overall purpose of the new road is to provide the opportunity of more industrial business in the area.
