Considered one of the most dangerous intersections in Manitoba by the Reeve of the R.M of Stanley, the junction of Road 9 North to Schanzenfeld and PTH 32 is receiving much needed improvements.

"After many years of people complaining about this road, and rightly so, we're going to be putting in partial turning lanes," R.M of Stanley Reeve Morris Olafson explains.

Along with turning lanes, the intersection will also be widened thanks to a $500,000 boost from the Provincial Government.

"It's drastically needed," Olafson says.

Turning lanes will also be installed at Load Line and Froese Enterprises.

"So it's all three in one," Olafson says. "That's something we've been waiting for."

Construction is expected to be complete this fall.
