No one was hurt during a two vehicle collision on the east side of Altona Thursday morning. Police and fire crews were called to the incident around 9 a.m. at the intersection of PR 30 and Centre Ave..

Information released by Altona Police Service outlined that the driver of a white Chevrolet Equinox was eastbound on Centre Ave when they proceeded onto PR 30 and collided with a northbound red Chrysler PT Cruiser. The collision caused the PT Cruiser to spin out of control and end up in the adjacent water-filled ditch.

Although both vehicles sustained significant damage, both drivers walked away without injury. The police investigation is ongoing with charges pending.
