Manitoba Hydro has restored power to residents living in the Red River corridor.

The lights went out at about 7 this morning for about 2,400 customers in the St. Jean, Morris, Rosenort and Ste. Agathe areas.

Hydro spokesman Bruce Owen says crews were able to get power back up shortly after 9:30 a.m. by switching to alternate lines and feeders.

The outage has been connected to a downed power line south of Ste. Agathe.
