The Pembina Valley Pregnancy Care Centre's new Morden office is closer to completion thanks to a $10,000 donation from Winkler/Morden Co-op.

PVPCC Executive Director Linda Marek says the financial boost will help complete construction as well as furnish and decorate the space.

"We appreciate that Co-op has a heart for local folks and organizations like ours," Marek says. "Co-op has been very kind to us over the years, it’s been such a great partnership for Pregnancy Care and we can simply reach more women, men, couples and families."

"The assistance that the Pregnancy Care Centre provides to those that use their services builds into our people and makes us stronger," Winkler Co-op General Manager Evan Toews says. "We are fortunate to have this organization in Southern Manitoba."

The capital project in Boundary Trails Place in Morden is nearing completion. Marek notes the new office doubles their former space, adding a second conversation room.

She notes the project has been a year in the making with planning, fundraising and decision making, "so it's fabulous to see it all come together."
