The water boil advisory has now been lifted for the Village of Reinfeld.

The water line break in the Village of Reinfeld has been repaired.

As for the residents who were affected by this afternoons mishap, they're being instructed to boil their water for about a minute before consumption.

Utilities Manager Dave Remple stated this is a precautionary measure and the Municipality is bringing a sample to be tested with results expected sometime Sunday. Remple noted Stanley officials will contact the affected residents once they know the results of the tests. 

the affected areas in the village of Reinfeld again are Second Avenue, Third Avenue, and Hespeler Street North.

Residents who receive water from the RM of Stanley in the village of Reinfeld may be without water for a couple of hours this afternoon after a water line break.

"We were installing a service line and the contractor nicked the main line," explained Dave Remple Utilities Manager with the RM. "We isolated the break and there's a couple of streets who don't have water right now."

Avenue's without water are Second, Third, and Hespeler street. Remple added no other water pressure or outages are expected.

Remple explained crews are already on scene and are working on repairing the damage and trying to restore water to everyone as soon as possible.
