Sunday, November 11th will mark 100 years since the formal end of World War I in 1918. On the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, the armistice came into effect.

Remembrance Day is dedicated to recognizing the many people who have or continue to serve and protect.

Services will be held around the region.

Carman:
- 10:45 a.m. at Carman Community Hall

Gretna:
- 10:30 a.m. at Gretna School
- Everyone is invited to attend, with a special invitation extended to all veterans, Canadian and American, who are asked to wear decorations and to participate in the Veterans Parade. Coffee and dainties are served.

Manitou:
- 10:30 a.m. at Manitou Opera House

Morden:
- 10:30 a.m. at Access Event Centre

Morris:
- 11:00 a.m. at the Cenotaph on Main Street

Roseisle:
- 10:45 a.m. at Roseisle EMC
- 4:50 p.m. 100 Bell Ring near Cenotaph to honour the 100th anniversary to the end of WWI.

Roland:
- 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. music
- 10:45 a.m. service at Roland Memorial Hall

Winkler:
- 10:45 a.m. at P.W Enns Centennial Concert Hall
