Morden Police are warning residents of a canvassing scam in the area.

Police have received reports of a couple going door-to-door claiming to be canvassing for the Morden United Way.

United Way representatives have indicated the couple are not affiliated with the organization, adding the non-profit does not canvass door-to-door.

Police urge residents to call immediately if one of the canvassers comes to their door.
