Plum Coulee's annual Plum Fest is happening this weekend and offers family fun for all ages.

This year, the festival will include a sand castle building contest, a Canada 150 street supper, special live entertainment, fireworks, and a Plum Coulee School reunion for anyone that attended between 1931 and 1985.

The live entertainment will feature a Rosemary and Eli & Celebrity Friends concert.  Another special event of the weekend will be the wedding of musicians Rosemary Siemens and Eli Bennett, which is open to the public.

"Everyone knows Rosemary is very proud of her hometown, Plum Coulee, and she mentions it at every single concert she does around the world. So, we are going to have people coming to this wedding from around the world too, and we will have a chance to showcase our community," said Plum Fest Committee Member June Letkeman.

Letkeman reminds everyone to bring lawn chairs if attending the wedding, because seating will be limited.

The festival will also feature its annual attractions including the parade, street dance, and Saturday morning waffle and crackle breakfast.
