A woman was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Morden Friday night.

At approximately 7:00 p.m February 16, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of 12th St. and Thornhill St.

Police arrived to find a female lying injured on the boulevard.

The driver of the vehicle was on scene and advised she was travelling east on Thornhill St. approaching 12th St. A female crossing Thornhill Street was proceeding south and was struck in the curb lane. The driver did not see the pedestrian crossing and did not have an opportunity to brake before striking the pedestrian.

The female pedestrian was transported to Boundary Trails Health Centre with injuries. Police are continuing their investigation.
