A 23-year-old Reinland resident is facing a 72 hour suspension and a ticket after an accident in Winkler on Saturday.

The two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of 1st St. and Norquay Drive.

While police noted an odour of liquor on the man's breath, the roadside breath sample only registered in the "warning" category.

However, police also learned the man's vehicle was unregistered at the time of the accident. He was issued a ticket for Driving An Unregistered Vehicle and Proceed Before Safe To Do So.
