UPDATE: Police say there were no injuries or charges laid after a vehicle broke through the storefront of Shoppers Drug Mart on Saturday in Winkler.

Police learned the 87 year old driver accidently put the car in “Drive”,

The incident was determined to be accidental.

A vehicle broke through the storefront of Shoppers Drug Mart on Saturday in Winkler.

A witness says a vehicle had driven into the storefront of Shoppers, smashing one of the windows near the photo centre. The vehicle was minorly damaged and dented.

An ambulance was called and paramedics checked that both occupants of the vehicle were okay.

No one inside the store was injured and the couple proceeded into the store for shopping.
