Friesens Corporation recently donated $3,000 to Winkler Bible Camp.

"Both my children are looking forward to their time at camp this summer," says Friesen's Don Feaver. "As a parent I really appreciate a faith-based camp that offers so many activities and opportunities for growth."

He notes, one of Friesens Corporation's core values is to help build a stronger community. "We invest in the community through both cash donations and by supporting our employee-owners as coaches, youth leaders, fundraisers, and many other important volunteer roles."

Feaver explains donations from the company flow through the Employee-Directed Giving Program, giving each employee-owner a vote for which local organizations they feel would benefit the most from Friesens charitable giving. The donation amount is correlated to the number of votes the recipient organization received.

“Many of us have been campers, or parents of campers, at Winkler Bible Camp. We’re proud to support their work and their influence on the lives of so many young people," adds Friesen Corporation President Chad Friesen.
