The Winkler Food Cupboard received a boost recently thanks to the students at Prairie Dale School and Hometown Ford in Winkler.

The WE Scare Hunger food drive, part of the national WE student movement, saw classes at PDS compete to collect the most food items.

In the end approximately 2,750 items were collected for a total of 2,099 pounds of food.
