Emergency services are taking the opportunity Friday to test their early warning systems to cap off National Fire Prevention Week.

Southern Emergency Response Committee (SERC) and the City of Winkler is conducting a test of the outdoor emergency warning sirens on Friday at noon in Winkler.

The City of Morden will also be conducting a test of the codered mass notification system at approximately 12:30 p.m on Friday.
    
Residents are reminded these are only tests, with no reason to be alarmed.
