A 32-year-old man is in custody after a sexual assault investigation in Winkler.

On February 17, a female youth disclosed to Winkler Police Service numerous sexual assaults that had taken place over the past several months.

The accused was arrested for sexual assault and several other sexual related offences and remanded into custody to appear in Provincial Court.

Police say the male was known to the victim.
