A four month long meth trafficking investigation concluded with the arrest of two people in Winkler on Saturday.

At approximately 6:09 p.m, on June 24 several Winkler Police Service members arrested a 30-year-old Morden male at a local gas station for possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. A quantity of methamphetamine and cash was found on the suspect.

A female, also from Morden, was also arrested in a nearby parking lot in relation to the same investigation.

Both suspects were released on a Promise to Appear in Morden Provincial Court on August 15, 2017.

As no charges have been laid at this time, the names of the suspects have not been released.
