Morden Police Service received a report from an individual indicating that their 7-year-old grandson had been assaulted by three other youth. The October 6th incident occurred at Morden Park.

Chief of Police Brad Neduzak says the incident started with a disagreement and escalated into a physical altercation.

"I think maybe having us (Police) involved as a mediation is a good idea so it all stays on track and everything stays above board," says Neduzak.

The altercation was involving a number of youth varying in ages from seven to ten.

Bullying is never acceptable says Neduzak.

"We just remind all kids and youth to be respectful of each other and to be careful of what you say," Neduzak says.

The issue has since been resolved. Police warned the youth and returned them to their parents.

Below is the rest of the weekly Morden Police Report for the week of October 2nd through 9th, 2017, as submitted by the department.
