Kara Wieler from Winkler Soccer joined the morning show to talk about this year's program. Last year, Winkler Soccer had almost 600 kids registered for the program. Wieler commented on that success, "It's pretty cool. It's great to see so many families and kids show up to play soccer. We're starting to run out of grass, but we still haven't put a limit on how many can play."

As her kids have gone through the program, Wieler says they all enjoyed it, and her daughter now even referees soccer games.

"They really enjoy just getting out and having the chance to be on a team with their friends, seeing all the kids from school again at the end of summer is always fun."

Registration is $30 for kids turning four (born in 2020), and $40 for kids in kindergarten-grade 8. They play on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 making it really easy to fit into the calendar.

Registration can be done online, or there will be an in-person event on May 20th from 6:30-8:30 at the Meridian Exhibition Centre. Online registration also opens on May 20th.
