The Winnipeg Blue Bombers wrapped up their pre-season schedule with a 38-20 loss to the Tiger-Cats in Hamilton. Starting quarterback Buck Pierce completed two of three passes for 16 yards and one first down in the first quarter. Steven Jyles was good on nine of 14 pass attempts for 152 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball twice for 24 yards. Alex Brink completed five of eight passes for 86 yards including an eight-yard touchdown pass to Cory Watson. Receiver Terence Jeffers-Harris caught three passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Head coach Paul LaPolice, who left about a dozen starters at home, will declare his 46 player roster and seven-member practice squad by 2 p.m. this Thursday. The Blue Bombers will open the 2010 Canadian Football League season at home on July 2nd against Hamilton.
