Michael Booth of Winnipeg and Cindy Sondag of Fargo won the Manitoba Marathon on Sunday. Booth captured his fourth men's title in a time of 2:32:33 while Sondag won her second straight women's crown in a time of 2:59:18.

 

Clayton Dreger asked Michael Booth to talk about winning the 32nd Manitoba Marathon.

 

 

13,686 runners entered the 32nd annual event. Justin Mangin of Bruxelles finished in 18th place. He was 3:09:31. Jesse Vanderveen of Sanford was 21st at 3:12:33. Johnny Bestland of Sanford finished 30th in the half marathon with a time of 1:26:40. Pieter Both of Morden was 1:31:43 while Lloyd Letkeman of Gretna was 1:33:23.
