A the summer progresses the Winkler Police Service is becoming busier.

 

Inspector Brad Kehler says this is par for the course as they see it happen every year.


He says there are more mischief calls as people tend to stay out later with the warm summer nights.


Kehler says thankfully it's just the quantity of calls going up, and not the severity.


He adds their visibility has increased this summer as well, compared to last year, with the addition of two constables.
