The R.M. of Morris is hoping to have a change in their zoning by law implemented by mid August.
The municipality is working on reducing their minimum lot requirement from two acres to half.
Reeve Herm Martens says the reason is because they've found a way to have septic tanks in yards that small and because buyers prefer smaller for maintenance reasons.
Martens adds a meeting will be held in the future to discuss the topic.
