Director of Development at Eden Foundation Jayme Giesbrecht visited the Morning Show to discuss a fundraising concert on Sunday, March 24th. Award-winning Elvis tribute artist Corny Rempel will perform live at the PW Enns Centennial Concert Hall accompanied by the Covenant Quartet. Jayme talked about choosing Corny Rempel for the show.

"We know that Corny Rempel as an Elvis tribute artist is fantastic. So talented and really understands Eden's message and has been a great supporter of ours through the years, even before my time with Eden Foundation as well as the New Covenant Quartet, who is also out of Steinbach. They're great supporters of Eden. They've done many fundraising concerts for us, so we're so glad to have both of them."

The doors will open at 6:30 with the concert beginning at 7pm. Concertgoers are encouraged to be timely as it will be rush seating.

Jayme also commented on the connection between Elvis and mental health.

While there will be no tickets sold for this show, it is still a fundraising effort. Proceeds from the evening will go into the Eden Foundation General Fund. Jayme says this fund goes into many of Eden's programs.

"That means Eden Mental Health Center, Eden housing, Segway career options, and recovery of hope counseling. It's a big help in so many ways. This is your opportunity to be as generous as you possibly can."
