An arrest warrant has been issued, with the suspect remaining at large, after an April 27th incident where three males reported they were pepper sprayed by another male they knew.

When Winkler Police arrived at the scene, the suspect had fled and police have yet to locate him.

The suspect is facing a long list of charges including three counts of Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Highway Traffic Act offences for Driving without a valid driver’s licence and Driving imprudently.

Meanwhile, the investigation continues in an unrelated break and enter case from May 6th. Officers were dispatched to an outbuilding of a local business after receiving the B and E report.

Upon arrival, police found the three males inside, and demanded they exit, to which they refused. The males were able to escape the building out of sight of police.
