Manitoba Hydro's debt continues to grow.

In its latest annual report released this week, the Crown corporation indicated its long-term debt ballooned by $443 million.

Conservative leader Hugh McFadyen says rising debt is a concern when capital projects slated to take place over the next two decades, have barely begun.

The total Manitoba Hydro debt today is about $7.6 billion.

McFadyen notes all signs point to a rapidly diminishing financial position for Manitoba's most important Crown corporation.
