The Winnipeg Goldeyes game against the Gary SouthShore RailCats was postponed due to steady rain in Northwest Indiana. The Goldeyes and RailCats will play a pair of seven-inning games today at U.S. Steel Yard. Winnipeg manager Rick Forney announced the signing of former Major League relief pitcher Bobby Korecky. Korecky, 30, appeared in 21 games with the Minnesota Twins and Arizona Diamondbacks in 2008 and 2009. He was 2-0 and had an 6.84 ERA. To make room for Korecky, the Goldeyes have released starting pitcher Matt Kniginyzky and relief pitcher Andrew Barb.
