Canada raised almost one million dollars through the Living Gift Festival this year.

 


Store Manager for Winkler Ten Thousand Villages Heather Wiebe was happy to see the final numbers higher than last year.


She says as a nation they raised $950,000, which is over $400,000 more than last year.


Wiebe says Winkler contributed just over twenty thousand dollars to that total.


She says they have received a lot of positive feedback on the Living Gift Festival before and after Christmas.


Wiebe adds the people receiving the gifts have a gratitude beyond what she can explain.
