The Province of Manitoba has provided an update regarding the Highway 75 construction project.

Back in May, Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure or, MTI, began a major concrete reconstruction project on a 24.5-kilometre stretch of southbound Highway 75 between Ste. Agathe and Morris. This was a project that was first announced late last year.

According to a provincial spokesperson, the lanes are expected to be open for use before winter, when the majority of this concrete work is scheduled to be completed. Work is underway to address some construction challenges, but weather has been optimal for highway construction and MTI expects continued progress for the remainder of the 2023 construction season.
