It’s icy on highways throughout Southern Manitoba Wednesday. After yesterday’s blowing snow and warm temperatures, the slush of Tuesday afternoon has turned into the icy conditions of this morning.

As of 8:40 a.m. Highway 75 from the U.S. border to Winnipeg is reported as ice covered, with most highways west of 75 partly ice covered.

As of 8:40 a.m. Wednesday all sections of the Trans Canada highway and Perimeter were reopened.
