The Winkler Fairgrounds was packed on Saturday night for the Winkler Harvest Festival. Beautiful, warm weather was the backdrop as festival goers from Winkler and the surrounding area enjoyed live music on the Triple E Mainstage.

Joe Wilson from Winkler, Manitoba opened the show. Wilson played some classic country covers and some originals including, “Send me back to Winkler, Manitoba”.

A group from Southern Ontario, Johnson's Creek played next. Bringing some rock country into the mix they also played their brand-new single “Burn it Up”

Jade Eagleson took the stage at 8 pm to a roar from fans excited for a show. Eagleson, a performer from Ontario, commented on how it was his first time performing in Winkler and the great country music-loving crowd in attendance.

Saturday’s second headliner was Tenille Arts out of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Fans crowded the stage to dance and sing along to her hits including, “Back Then, Right Now”, “Give it to me Straight”, and “Everybody Knows Everybody”. She ended the show with an encore performance, a cover of The Chicks’ “Wide Open Spaces”.

Tonight’s headliner is Ellie Holcomb who will take the stage at 8:45 ahead of the fireworks at 10 pm!
