Former Winkler Flyers forward and Carman native Aaron Lewadniuk has been invited to Manitoba Moose training camp which begins with physicals on Sunday, September 26th.
 

 

The AHL club will begin practices on Monday with their first exhibition game scheduled for Saturday, October 1st at home against Abbotsford.

 

Lewadniuk recorded 88 points as a 16 year old rookie with the Flyers in 2006/2007 and finished his junior career with 86 points (37 goals and 49 assists) with the WHL's Brandon Wheat Kings last season.

 

 

 

He also recorded 14 playoff points in the Wheat Kings run to the Memorial Cup Final.

 

This past off season Lewadniuk signed a pro contract with the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.
