The team's commitment to excellence on and off the field will undoubtedly be a great asset to the Winkler community. Chris Moffatt, President of South Central Minor Baseball, added “This is a great opportunity to keep the franchise going and hopefully give it a new spark.”

The Pembina Valley Orioles are also thrilled to announce that Dan Giesbrecht will be the team’s first head coach in Winkler. Dan brings decades of baseball experience at all baseball levels to the Orioles and has expressed great excitement to work with the young players and coaches in the Orioles organization.
