Local police continue to find dangerous drugs while conducting their day-to-day work.

According to an instance highlighted in the latest Morden Police Service weekly report, shortly after midnight on Saturday, officers checked out a suspicious vehicle parked in a local businesses parking lot. One of the occupants, a male passenger, was arrested for failing to comply with a curfew and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. The female driver was also on a curfew and arrested for failing to comply with an undertaking.

Both suspects were later released with court notices.

Then shortly before 3 p.m. later that day, officers noticed a woman who was known to have an arrest warrant. She was arrested, and police subsequently found a needle containing a clear substance believed to be methamphetamine.

The suspect was issued a court appearance notice for April.
