A wide cross section of the community has been invited to a meeting hosted by Age-Friendly Winkler and its provincial counterpart.

Winkler Recreation Programmer Rick Denison says tomorrow's gathering will allow people to come together and brain storm about how to make the city more accessible.

The discussion will focus on 8 key areas that include outdoor spaces and buildings, transportation, and housing.

Denison says the information will be gathered into a report and used at future meetings.

The ultimate goal is to establish an Age-Friendly Winkler committee that will look at how to address the highlighted challenges.
