Members of the Morden Police Service responded to a disturbance last week that landed a 24-year-old in custody on a remand.
On March 18th, officers were dispatched to a local residence regarding a male causing a disturbance.
Police arrived to discover the male was free on release conditions. He was arrested for failing to comply with his release orders x3.
Shortly after 3 am, on Thursday morning, a complaint was called into Morden Police about an intoxicated female causing a disturbance. A 35-year-old female was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act.
She was released without charges once sober.
Then on Sunday, police were dispatched to a local business for an intoxicated male refusing to leave.
The 22-year-old male was arrested under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act and released without charges once sober.
Last Wednesday, March 20th shortly after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver, Modern police found the suspect vehicle and individual.
Police located the vehicle at a business and found a 23-year-old male sleeping behind the wheel while parked with the vehicle running.
The driver provided breath samples over the legal limit and was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
He was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle and was released on an appearance notice once sober.
Earlier that day, a 44-year-old male was arrested and charged with Assault following an incident in Morden.
On March 20th, officers were dispatched to a local residence about an ongoing fight. They arrived to find a 38-year-old female who had bruising and swelling on her face.
The 44-year-old male was arrested and charged with assault and failure to comply with an undertaking. He was released on an undertaking with a May court date in Morden.
On Monday, March 25th, at 4:00 am Morden police were dispatched to a residence for a break and enter in progress.
Police arrived to find a suspect who was in the backyard and had smashed the back door window of the residence.
The 29-year-old male was arrested, and police are continuing their investigation.
