There's been some movement in the Municipality of Rhineland's front office.

Chief Financial Officer, John Blatz, tendered his resignation a few weeks ago, leaving the Municipality with a key job to fill. It didn't take long for Council and administration to find someone. 

"We are now pleased to announce that Tanya Waddell will be the CFO," said Reeve Don Wiebe, noting Waddell has a background and experience in municipal finance. 

Waddell is the current general manager for the RPGA Planning District, based out of Rhineland's municipal office. Her appointment as CFO meant the RPGA board was once again looking for a replacement for the top job. And that replacement has been found, noted Wiebe.

"Again, we are pleased to announce Lucie Maynard has agreed to take on this responsibility." 

Maynard is currently the Chief Administrative Officer for the R.M. of Stuartburn. 

"Lucie has a background and a keen interest in municipal planning," added Wiebe.

"We look forward to working with Lucie and Tanya in their new roles."

Additionally, long time public works employee, Bill Peters, has retired.
