R.M. of Morris greenlights Phase 2 of Prairie Hearth Development

The Prairie Hearth residential subdivision continues to evolve on Rosenort's south side.

Scott Siemens, Reeve for the R.M. of Morris, says Council has approved the tenders for Phase 2. 

This time around, however, he noted Council took a different approach to creating the tenders and split the underground and aboveground work, and it looks like it paid off.

"[...] Our engineers have indicated that we got a little more favourable pricing," he noted. "As I've mentioned before, money only goes so far and we all know that, and so we were pleased to realize that it seemed to be more economical."

Phase 2 will consist of 40 serviced lots, and Siemens hopes to have them completed by the start of 2025.
