We did not set any records with the snowfall yesterday and overnight.

Forecaster Dale Marciski says we received 10 to 15 centimeters in most of Southern Manitoba.

However amounts ranged as high as 20 centimeters in the southwest corner as well as in the Eastman and Whiteshell areas.

The record of 25 centimeters was set on October 30th, 1971.

Meantime streamers are coming off Lakes Winnipeg and Manitoba today.

Marciski says they are giving narrow bands of heavy snow in places like Portage La Prairie, Elm Creek and Beausejour.

Amounts could range from 10 to 30 centimeters.
