On Saturday, September 16th Cassondra Sawatzky hosted the 5th annual Wonderfully Made Memorial Walk. It kicked off at 10am at the Altona Centennial Park in Altona, Manitoba.

This event was in memory of children that have passed away, whether that was in childhood, infancy or pregnancy all forms of child loss were welcome to attend as well as other forms of child loss like failed adoption.

Anyone who wanted to come in memory of a child was welcome but only parents could register a child's name to be read for everyone to hear.

It doesn't matter how long it's been, a child's name should be said and they deserve to be remembered.

There was coffee provided by Sun Valley Co-op and muffins that were graciously baked and donated to the event. The full event lasted about 45 minutes front to back and was a beautiful coming together of people who could relate to each other, grieve and remember together.
