To raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis is the reason for the Supercities Walk at the end of April.

Walk spokesperson Debbie Maddock says the event is important because the public needs to realize what the disease is, there is no cure for it and they're not quite sure what even causes Multiple Sclerosis.

Maddock adds the Red River Valley has one of the highest rates per capita of cases of M.S making support from the area even more important.

Event Coordinator Cheryl Fedorchuk says you can pre-register or register the day of.

She adds you can participate individually or with a team.

The 2007 Supercities Walk for MS in Morden is on April 29.
