The Altona Bisons gave up three runs in the top of the first inning and dropped a 4-1 decision to the St. Boniface Legionaires. The Bisons managed just three hits off St. Boniface starter Chris Norquay who went six innings in recording the win. Mac Batchelor, who drove in Angus Klassen with Altona's lone run in the sixth inning, took the loss. He allowed just five hits and struck out 13 Legionaires. The Bisons reached the midway point of the 2010 Manitoba Junior Baseball League season with an 8-7 record and will play a doubleheader in Winnipeg this Sunday against the St. James A's.
