A Morden man is facing a number of drug related charges.

Morden Police Chief Brad Neduzak says after a lengthy investigation the Morden and Winkler Police Departments and the Canadian Border Services Agency executed a search warrant in Morden Friday afternoon.

They seized a quantity of marijuana, cocaine and paraphernalia, used in trafficking.

Charged is 29 year old Christopher Lee Kirby.

Kirby faces charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking cocaine and marijuana, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and failing to comply with an undertaking.

He was remanded into custody and appeared in Portage Provincial Court this morning.
